What is the Adonit Log?

What devices will Adonit Log work with?

Adonit Log is compatible with iPad Air (3/4/5), iPad mini (5/6), iPad (6/7/8/9), iPad Pro 11” (1/2/3), iPad Pro 12.9” (3/4/5) and newer models


Why I can not use Adonit Log on iPad Pro 2020 and/or newer models?

Please try the following steps to solve the problem:

1. Make sure you have updated your iOS to version 12.2 or above, to check this, please go to iPad Settings → General → Software Update.
2. Disconnect any digital pencils, such as Apple Pencil from your device.


I have updated iOS to 12.2 or newer version, why I am still unable to use Adonit Log with my device?

Please make sure you’ve disconnected other digital pencil from your device, such as Apple Pencil.


Can I use Adonit Log on other capacitive touchscreen devices? (i.e. iOS device)

No. Adonit Log is designed for only few iOS tablets. If your device is not in the list, we have other styluses for you, please refer to our iOS compatible stylus list to find out the best stylus for you.


Does Adonit Log require Bluetooth? Do I need to pair it with my device?

No, Adonit Log doesn’t require a Bluetooth connection to get started. Simply hit the power button and start writing.


How to use Adonit Log?

To begin using Log, simply hold down the button until a blue light is illuminated.Then place the tip on the screen to navigate, tap or write. You could also wake up the Notes App by double tapping the screen.


How do I turn on the special features of Adonit Log? (i.e palm rejection)

As long as your device supports Adonit Log, it will support the advanced features like palm rejection. No need to set up in your device or apps.


What apps do you recommend for Adonit Log?

Adonit Log will work as a basic non-Bluetooth stylus in any iOS app. For a full list of compatible apps, please visit our Adonit Connected Apps Page.


Does Adonit Log support tilt for shading?

No.


Does Adonit Log support pressure sensitivity?

No.


How do you turn on/off Adonit Log?

1) Turn your Adonit Log ON by holding down the button, a solid blue light is on.
2) Turn your Adonit Log OFF by holding down button, the light goes off.


What do the LED light’s mean on the Adonit Log?

Blue light turns on : Adonit Log has been powered on or fully charged.
No light : Adonit Log has been powered off.
Red light flashes: Adonit Log has low power.
Red light turns on : Adonit Log is under charging


How do I charge my Adonit Log?

To charge, just insert the included standard USB-C connector into the charging end of Log and plug the remaining end into a standard USB-C port.


How long does it take to charge Adonit Log?

Adonit Log should be fully charged in 60 minutes.


How long will Adonit Log last on a full charge? What is the battery life of the Adonit Log?

24 hours of continuous use.


Does Adonit Log automatically turn off?

Adonit Log will turn off automatically after 20 minutes if no button is pressed or no movement of the pen is detected.


Can the power button be used for other features besides turning on/off?

No, the button only like works as a power switch.


Is there any replacement part available for Adonit Log?

Yes. Adonit Log features a spiral tip that can be replaced easily when it’s worn down. Replacement tips are available on our Spare Parts page.


What comes in the box?

Adonit Log, USB-C charging cable, and user manual.
